Questions
Straight answers, before a project starts.
If it is not here, write to Sam. That is the shorter path anyway.
Ask it here, or skip to the email.
What do you actually make?
Websites. Designed, built, and looked after. Not apps, not ads, not a marketing department. A front door for the business, then someone who stays on it.
How does a project start?
A conversation. What the site has to do, who it is for, what it should never become. Then a live homepage — a real page you can open — before anything else is built.
Will I see a mockup?
No. A picture of a website is not a website. You get the homepage as a private page, on desk and in the hand. If that feels right, the rest of the site follows the same hand.
Do you use templates?
No. Templates are cheap on day one and expensive every year after. The sites are hand-built, quiet, and yours.
Who do I talk to?
Sam Barry. Founding director. The person who writes the pages, builds them, and answers when something needs changing.
What happens after launch?
Care. Hosting, updates, copy, a new page when you add a service or a town. You should not have to open a new project to change a sentence.
Do I need to be in Victoria?
The studio is. The work is wherever the business is. Everything runs over a call, email, and a private link to the homepage.
What does it cost?
It depends on the pages and the care. Write with a short brief — what the site has to do, and by when — and you get a number, not a range that quietly grows.
The next step
Sit down with Sam. Homepage first, then the rest.
A short brief is enough — what the site has to do, and by when. Replies within two working days.
