Looking after a site after launch.
Website management is hosting, updates, and someone who still answers — not a new invoice for every sentence.
Launch is not the end of the invoice. A site that nobody touches starts lying. Prices drift. A town gets added. A photo dates. The form stops arriving somewhere useful.
Care, for us, is the dull work that keeps a front door honest: hosting, updates, a new page when you add a service, copy when you change how you talk. You should not have to open a new project to change a sentence.
That is website management without the theatre. No monthly report of things that did not happen. No account manager translating your email. You write to Sam. The page changes.
Every site we have built is meant to be looked after. The ones that stay with us — Nexus, Phillips, the shops and the club — do so because the relationship is the product, not a retainer dressed as one.
